Explanation: Lala Lajpat Rai was a successful lawyer who practiced Law from 1884 to 1914. He was associated with the management of Punjab National Bank and Lakshmi Insurance Company in their early stages in 1894.
After quitting the Law practice in 1914, Lala Lajpat Rai travelled to Britain and the USA. Owing to the First World War, he was compelled to stay in the USA from 1917 to 1920.
